Lighthouse is the test Google gives developers to measure a website. It marks four things out of 100: how quickly a page loads on a phone, how it does on automated accessibility checks, whether it's built the way browsers expect, and whether search engines can read it. It's a useful health check, not a full accessibility audit or a promise about rankings.
Google's PageSpeed test runs it twice: once as a computer, and once as a mid-range phone on a slow connection. The phone is the harder test, and it's the version of your site Google indexes. We build every site to score 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO on both, and 90 or more for speed even on the phone. You get the report with your site when it goes live.

What if I don't have photos or written content?
We'll build using your existing public business information, like your Google or Facebook listing, if you don't have anything ready to send. You can always add your own content and photos afterwards.
What exactly will be ready within 5 working days?
A working version of your site, ready for you to look at and ask for changes. Not a final, locked-off version, that comes after your round of revisions.
Will my website work on mobile?
Yes. Every site we build is designed to work well on phones and tablets by default, that's standard, not an upgrade. If you've got a specific reason you need something different, just tell us and we'll work around it.
Can I keep my existing domain?
Yes. We can point an existing domain at your new site, or help you register one if you don't have one yet.
What happens if I cancel my care plan?
As long as your build's been paid in full, we'll hand over your files and content free of charge whenever you cancel, no fee attached. If a payment is simply missed rather than cancelled outright, your site stays live for 14 days so you've got time to sort it out before anything comes down. Any third party services tied to your plan, like a booking plugin, get cancelled too, and you or your new provider would need to set those back up elsewhere.
